Join acclaimed Haida artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas at the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac for a special artist talk celebrating the museum’s recent acquisition of nine paintings from his Daalkaatlii Diaries series.

This event marks the first time these works will be displayed as part of the museum’s permanent collection. Yahgulanaas will speak about his unique hybrid art practice—which blends Haida visual storytelling with graphic novel aesthetics—and reflect on the themes and process behind Daalkaatlii Diaries. Following the talk, guests are invited to join him for an informal walkthrough and discussion of the newly installed works.
